CERTIFICATION AND ASSESSMENT:
City and Guilds offers Skills Proficiency awards in Basic Food and Beverage Service. By using an internationally recognized body you would add merit to the certification of the staff. The awards are competency based and an assessment will take place in the workplace on completion of the programme by means of questioning and observation. Once the process is complete a report is sent on the candidate’s performance during training and assessment, which highlights strengths and weaknesses, to give management and indication as to future potential development.

DURATION OF TRAINING:
Each group maximum 16 staff will require three full days training to complete the recommended basic programme. The staff will then attend the assessment individually, which takes approximately one and a half hours per person or 2 days for the group.
